Innovation, disruption, sensation : new trends and « wow » concepts in the hotel and restaurant sectors, with a focus on the role of women.  

The TOP Executive team has launched a new serie of networking opportunities and business exchanges. For each afterwork, we are proposing to our members to discover the testimonials of two or more among them and to discuss experiences and success. This time in the hotel and restaurant industry. Any member interested as well by the industry and the topic is welcome too. 

Heidi MILLER, Hélène SAMUEL and Servane RANGHEARD, experts in food and hospitality, will share their Best Of in a lively and colorful presentation, followed by Q&A and a tasty networking-cocktail supplied by LA CUISINE DE HUONG, authentic natural and sophisticated Vietnamese food, subtly revisited and adapted.


After a management career in international companies, Heidi Miller fell in love with the food business 15 years ago :
- She Created her own restaurant/hotel in the South of France and was its Chef (8 yrs)
- Then joined Kusmi Tea to set up and lead the new restaurant business unit (3 yrs)
- She has been a restaurant food business consultant together with Hélène SAMUEL (3 yrs)
She is also :
- President of the HEC Alumni Club of Tourism and Gastronomy
- Vice-President and co-founder of Elles Sont Food, the association of women working in food
She is American and French, with a touch of German and Italian. Therefore, she goes for : NYC cheesecake, French wines and cheeses, rote Grüze et la pasta della mamma !
Hélène Samuel lives, breathes and dreams about restaurant.
She started in the restaurant world as the right arm of Alain Ducasse for 4 years.
Next, she created numerous restaurants and successful food concepts in France and worldwide for hotels, department stores, the food industry, retail shops, museums, deluxe brands, …
Then, she founded and operated her own restaurants for more than 10 years : delicabar and doobar at Le Bon Marché and the restaurant/bar and catering business at the famous Paris Salle Pleyel.
Together with Heidi Miller, she started H&H, a Restaurant and Food Business boutique consulting bureau as well as Elles sont Food ! an association dedicated to women working in the food industry.
Servane Rangheard has 25 years of experiences in hospitality industry in South-East Asia and France
In 1986 Servane Rangheard starts her career in Paris by taking part within AccorHotels in projects of several hotels opening.  In 1994, the AccorHotels appointed her in South-East Asia to hold the Director of Operation and Hotel’s General Management positions, specifically for opening or restructuring projects. In 2000, she creates launches, manages and develops a luxury hotel chain in Vietnam and Cambodia "Victoria Hotels and Resorts ": one success story !
After her fifteen years of experiences in South-East Asia, she launches a hotel chain with three hotels in the South of France: 2 hotel opening within 6 months.
Since 2010, she is Founder & CEO of HoPlus Consulting, Hotel Project Advisor by assisting investors to launch or to renovate their hotel & accompanying property owners wishing to rent their asset.
More recently, she manages the pre-opening and opening of the hotel Montaigne, Parisian boutique-hotel with 5 stars, hotel project in “La butte aux cailles” district, a castle from the XVIII century for residential meeting….
She is regularly requested as a trainer for Bachelor and Master 2 level for students, hotel owners and hotel general managers. Her specificities:  HOTEL
Servane Rangheard is a member of Femmes du Tourisme's Association (FDT), Professional Women's Network (PWN), Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur (CCE) and member of Association pour un Hébergement et un Tourisme Professionnel (AHTOP).
