Emmanuelle Scelles has been head of CSR at HR Group at BNP Paribas for almost two years.
Prior to that, Emmanuelle practiced law for over 20 years. She started as outside counsel for four years before joining the bank as corporate lawyer and became secretary of Paribas Supervisory Board. Then she was transferred with her family to New York where she practiced as a structured finance lawyer for six years.
Back in Paris, she worked on various activities such as lobbying with the French Banking Federation for The Hague Securities Convention, procedures and trainings on combating corruption and embargoes and was in charge of the relationships with outside counsel for the Group.
Her career now switched to corporate social responsibility and she enjoys the number and diversity of topics and counterparts, having to deal with regulation and innovation, reporting and relationships, social issues, equality and human rights, French and multicultural experiences.
Trained as a lawyer, she holds two Master Degrees from Pantheon-Sorbonne and a LLM from Fordham University. She is the proud mother of two grownups. She joined the PWN in 2009 and has been a volunteer for the Events team for nearly 3 years.30/11/-0001
